TEACHERS

This course is taught in English and led by one of our advanced Yoga, Tantra and Meditation teachers and assisted by Tiffany Tanner.

COURSE SCHEDULE

This Tantra Massage Therapist Training in Scottsdale, Arizona, is hosted in a luxury villa as a residential course.

The course involves a total of 85 hours of intense theoretical studies and practical training. The course is conducted over a period of 10 days, which culminate with theoretical and practical exam. Upon the successful completion of the exam a participant will receive the Tantra Massage Therapist Certificate issued by Somananda Tantra School.

The course schedule may vary day-by-day due to the nature of the teachings and needs of the group, but generally, our training schedule will look like the following:

Day 1 (4 August 2019): 19.00 welcome dinner followed by the retreat introduction at 20.00. Details will be sent to participants a week before.

Days 2-10 (5-13 August 2019): Teachings and practice of Tantra Massage for approximately eight hours daily. In terms of rhythm, more intense sessions follow more relaxed sessions, such that participants do not need to sustain their energy maximally and have intervals to revitalize.

09:00 Breakfast

10:00 Morning teaching session

14:00 Lunch break

16:30 Afternoon teaching session

20:00 Conclusion of the day

21:00 Occasional satsang

Day 11 (14 August 2019): Course-ending ceremony and conclusion by 15:00.

CERTIFICATION

The course involves a total of 85 hours of intense theoretical studies and practical training. The course is conducted over a period of 10 days, which culminate with theoretical and practical exam. Upon the successful completion of the exam a participant will receive the Tantra Massage Therapist Certificate issued by Somananda Tantra School.

EXAM

This international Tantra Massage Therapist Training concludes with a final exam, held on the last teaching day of the course. Course participants must successfully pass both elements of the exam, displaying proficiency in their knowledge and practical skills, in order to receive their certificate.

The exam will include a theoretical exam (30 multiple-choice questions in 30 minutes; 80% is the passing rate) and a practical exam of giving a massage to one of your peers (15-30 minutes). Points are awarded based on observations by the teachers.

COURSE FEE

Early-early-bird fee: 1940€ (approx. $2190), available if full payment done by 3 June 2019

Regular fee: 2340€ (approx. $2640), starting from 4 July 2019

The course fee includes: accommodation in the villa in a private, shared or bunk room, all course teachings and supplies, welcome dinner and some light snacks and drinks (water and tea) throughout the days.

The course fee does not include: flights, transportation to and from the course venue, meals, cost of some personal supplies that a participant is required to bring (e.g. Yoga mat and other items, the exact list will be sent prior to the course).

This course includes nudity and intimate personal touch. It is essential that those wishing to join are ready to open up and approach this subject with maturity, sincerity, and respect. Please realistically evaluate yourself before applying. There is no explicit sexuality in this training and no explicit sexual activity is part of the curriculum. The course does require that every participant is open to work and practice massage with everyone from the opposite gender. Again, please evaluate your readiness for this.
